Amy’s Grove

A Living Memorial at the TLC Early Learning Collaborative to Remember Amy Aschenbrenner

Amy Aschenbrenner was a proud Colorado native, the mother of three and grandmother to seven, who was passionate about early childhood learning for all children, regardless of their place in society. She passed away in January 2026 .

As the Vice President of Governmental Affairs and Community Investment for BOLO REALTORS, a former Chair of the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and a member of the Longmont Chamber’s Public Policy Committee, which she also Chaired, Amy’s passion for the community resulted in a significant positive impact on those around her as well as those who didn’t know her.

She was a volunteer for the Inn Between and the OUR Center as well as supporting the work of TLC Learning Center for many years.  Most recently she was honored to serve as the co-chair of TLC’s capital campaign to bring the TLC Early Learning Collaborative to life.

To recognize her significant contributions to TLC, and those she touched, a memorial fruit tree grove will be planted at the TLC Early Learning Collaborative in her memory.  “Amy’s Grove” will be a living reminder of her dedication and love for her family, her work and her devotion to early childhood education and the community.

To celebrate Amy’s memory, a $25,000 campaign has been launched to build and maintain the Grove to continue her legacy.  The City of Longmont has donated two fruit trees to lead this effort.

Many people have reached out to inquire about how they can support Amy’s memory.  This campaign provides a meaningful and lasting opportunity.

To support this campaign please reach out to Stacy Cornay, Director of Donor and Community Engagement via email at scornay@learningwithtlc.org or by sending your contribution to:  Amy’s Grove in care of TLC Learning Center, 1444 E. 3rd Avenue, Longmont, CO 80501.

Thank you for your support!
